There is always a possibility that oil drilling or exploration
which is presently being conducted off of the City of Oceanside
may strike oil bearing strata under high pressure and there is
no guarantee from responsible government agencies that steps
have been taken to avoid a repetition of the recent Santa
Barbara catastrophe,
