CITY OF CARLSBAD GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION AND SETTING PROTEST HEARING REGARDING "EAST CARLSBAD ANNEXA- TION NO. 2.9.
Be it resolved by the Cit the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. The City Council of th City of Carlsbad has received
a written petition requesting annexation to the City of Carlsbad
of certain property ocated in the County of San Diego, State of
California, more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached
1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, California, hold a pub1
hear and consider the written protests against the
annexation made by any person owning real property
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Said
property proposed to be annexed is hereby designated "EAST CARLSBAD
ANNEXATION NO. 2.9."
2. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad will on
July 1, 1969, at 7:30 p.m., at the City Council Chambers at
territory proposed to be annexed.

EAST CARLSBAD ANNEXATION NO. - 2.9
- All that unincorporated territor-y in the County of San Diego, State of California, being portions of Lots E, F, and I of Rancho Agua Hedionda, according to Partition Map thereof No. 823, filed in the
. office of the County Recorder, November -16, -1896, described-as fol lows:
I. Beginning at a point in the boundary line of the City of Carlsbad being the Northerly terminous of Course No. 7 in East Carlsbad Annexation No. 2.7, also being a point in the Southwesterly line of County Road Survey No. 682;
2. Thence Southwesterly along'said boundary line of the City of Carlsbad being Course No. 7 of East Carlsbad Annexation No; 2.7, South 25"29'30" West, 290 feet;
30* Thence South 66'54'57" East, 1260.00 feet;
4. Thence North 23'05'03" East, 300.00 feet more or less, to the Southwesterly line of County Road Survey No. 682, said road being 60 feet wide and lying 30 feet on either side of the centerline thereof;
5. Thence Southeasterly along the Southwesterly line of County Road Survey No. 682, South 66'36'08" East, 2330 feet, more or less, to an intersection with the Southwesterly prolongation of that certain course in the boundary of land conveyed to Thomas E. Burke, et al, by deed recorded August 4, 1965, as Documefit No. 139037 of Official Records9 having a bearing and distance of "South 29'17'22" West, 1213.60 feet";
6. Thence Northeasterly along said prolongation and boundary of said Burke's land, North 29'37'22" East (Deed "South 29"17'22" West") 1274 feet, more or less, to a point on,the Easterly line of Lot E of said Rancho Agua Hedionda, distaft thereon North
0'20'40" East, (Record North O"10'52" East) 1344.58 feet from Corner No. 1 of said Lot E;
7. Thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said Lot E, North 0°20'40't East, 164.57 feet to an angle point in said line;
8. Thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said Lot E, North 0'12'22" East, 1092.74 feet, to Corner No. 13 of said Lot E;
