RESOLUTION NO. 1645
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ADOPTING THE SALARY PLAN AND WORK CONDITIONS FOR THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FOR THE 1969-70 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on July 1, 1969, and July 23,
1969, hold discussion and give approval to the standard rates of pa
position titles, hours of work and holidays for all city employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
does resolve as follows:
7. The following standard rates, with step increases set
forth thereafter, described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and mad
a part hereof, are hereby established as the salary plan for the
City of Carlsbad.
The normal eligibility for salary step increase shall be
subject to meritorious service at Step A, six months at Step By one
year at Step C and one year at Step D.
These normal step increases shall be granted upon recommenda-
tion of the Department Mead and approval of the City Manager,
Double step increases or step increases in less than the normal tim
of service, may be permitted for exceptional work performance or
unusual employment conditions.
2. The Standard Rates, Position Titles and Work Conditions,
described in Exhibit IIB", attached hereto and made a part hereof,
are hereby adopted for the 1969-70 fiscal year.
3. The position titles and compensation for unclassified
personnel, described in Exhibit "C", attached hereto and made a
part hereof, are hereby adopted for the 1969-70 fiscal year.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
if Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of August,
969, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: None.
