HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-11-18; City Council; Resolution 1668. .- <-- d 4 s 4 C t 'i E s 1c 11, 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 8 RESOLUTION NO. 1668 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARL'SBAD, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1-7,500 TO R-3. WHEREAS, on the 28th day of October, 1969, the Carlshad City Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 634, which is herewith referred to and made a part hereof: and WHEREAS, on November 18, 1969, a duly advertised public hearin5 was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-1-7,500 to R-3 on property described as: Easterly 100 feet of that Portion of Tract 237 of Thum Lands Map 1681, In the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, being Parcel 3, Book 206 Page 5 of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County, and more particularly described in application on file in the City Planning Office. CVIHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of cl ass if i cation; NOW, THEREFORE, the City ncil of the City of Carlsbad DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 634 constitute the findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad. BE IT FURTHER DECLARED-AND RESOLVED that the City Council certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classi- fication is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
