HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-01-06; City Council; Resolution 1675I mb.',. ? - 'Y *, 2 3 4 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD CONGRATULATING CARLSBAD UNITED FUND CRUSADE CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEERS /I I 7 8 1 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 1675 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 39 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 its goal of $20,846.00. 2. The reaching of this goal was due to the efforts of many Carlsbad volunteer workers, headed by Mr. Hugh Vi ckery , Chai rman. 3. The following persons were key workers and largely responsible for the implementation of the Drive: Mr. Vince Gits,Co-chairman Mr. George Saunders Dr. Reid Binder,Co-chairman Mr. Robert Murre11 Mr. dack Callahan Mr. James Olander\ Mr. J. T. Brown Mr. Jerry Aalfs Mrs. Hazel Vickery Mr. George Leyva Mr. W. C. Baldwin Mr. J. K. Liakos Mr. Nick Papoutsis Mr. Don MacLeod Dr. Howard Harmon Hr. Howard Sylva 4. Therefore, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereb y extend its warm congratulations to the Chairman, Hugh Vickcry, all of his key workers herein mentioned, and all of the other unmentioned citizens of this City who unselfishly gave of their time and effort to make this Carlsbad llnited Fund Crusade Campaign a success.
