RESOLUTION NO. 1680
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 3F THE CITY OF CARLSBAD EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO DONALD
PLANTS A. BRIGGS, SR. FOR DONATION OF BIRD OF PARADISE
WHEREAS, Donald A. Briggs, Sr. has generously donated
fifteen thodsand "Bird of'Paradise" plants to the City of Carisbad
and other non-profit, charitable and governmental organizations;
and,
WHEREAS, said plants have contributed materia1,ly to the
improved appearance and beautification of our City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby extend its appreciation to Mr. Briggs and commends him for
his public spirited generousity;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be signed by
the Mayor and each member of the City Council personally.
- PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlibad at a regular meeting held on January 6, 1970, by the
fo1lowi.ng vote, to wit:
