RESOLUTION NO. 1763
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ADOPTING THE SALARY PLAN FOR THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FOR THE 1970-71 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on July 23, 1970, hold
discussion and give approval to the standard rates of pay for all
ci ty empl oyees ;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
does resolve as follows:
1. The following standard rates, with step increases set
forther thereafter, described in Exhi bit "A", attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby established as the salary plan for
the City of Carlsbad.
The normal eligibility for salary step increase shall be
subject to meritorious service at Step A, one year at Step 5,
one year at Step C, and one year at Step D.
These normal step increases shall be granted upon recommen-
dation of the Department Head and approval of the City Manager,
Double step increases or step increases in less than the normal
time of service, may be permitted for exceptional work performance
or unusual employment conditions.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at an adjourned regular meeting held on the 23rd day
of J.uJg, 1970, by the following votes to-wit:
Ayes: Mayor Dunne, Cmn. McComas, Jardine and Lewis
Noes: None
Absent: Cmn. Castro
