RESOLUTION NO. 1772
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISIONS REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-1 AND R-P TO
PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF ROOSEVELT
RD-M (RESIDENTIAL DENSITY-MULTIPLE) ZONE, ON

WHEREAS, on the 28th day of July, 1970, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 669, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on August 18, 1970, a duly advertised public hearing
was held as prescribed by law to consider a Change of Zone from

That Portion of Lot I, Tract 107, Carlsbad Acre Tract, Map 775, and Lots 25, 26 and 27, Map 535, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, being Parcels 5 and 14, Book 204, Page 16, of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County, more particularly described in application on file in the City Planning Office.
WHEREAS, the City Counci 1 received a1 1 recommendations and

heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change
of zone classification:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 669 constitute the
findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone class<-
fication is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinanc
No. 9060 as amended.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Carlsbad does hereby
declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the
proposed change of zone classification.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 18th day of August, 1970, by the following
vote to wit:
AYES : Mayor Dunne, Cmn. McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis
NOES : None.
