RESOLUTION NO. 1774
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ADOPTING THE SALARY PL'AN AND WORK CONDITIONS FOR
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FOR THE 19 1 FISCAL YEAR.
5 I/ WHEREAS, the City Council did on July 23, 1970 and August 4,

1970, hold discussion and give approval to the standard rates of
pay, position titles, hours of work and holidays for all city
empl oyees ;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
does resolve as follows:
1. The following standard rates, with step increases set
forth thereafter, described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby establ
the City of Carlsbad.
The normal eligibility for salary step increase shall be
subject to meritorious service at Step A, one year at Step B,
one year at Step C and one year at Step D.
These normal step increases shall be granted upon recommenda-
tion of the Department Head and approval of the City Manager,
Double step increases or step increases in less than the normal
time of service, may be permitted for exceptional work performance
or unusual employment conditions.
2. The Standard Range and Class Titles described in Exhibit
IIB", attached hereto and made a part hereofg are hereby
adopted for the 1970-71 fiscal year.

City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of
August, 1970, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Dunne, Cmn. McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
