HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-10-20; City Council; Resolution 1801I ! 1( 1: 1: 1: lf 1: le 17 1E IS 2c 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 c RESOLUTION NO. 1801 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISIONS RE- WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of September, 1970, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 665, which is herewith referred to and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, on October 20, 1970, a duly advertised public hearing Mas held as prescribed by law to consider a Change of Zone from R-1, R-2 and R-3 to RD-M (Residential Density-Multiple) Zone on real property located in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, commonly known as property between Tamarack Avenue, Agua Hedionda Lagoon,Carlsbad Boulevard, and the A.T.&S.F. Railroad rights-of-way, and more particularly as: Lots 7, 10 and 11, Block H; Lot 18, Block I, Portions of Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block J; Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Block I(; Lots 1, 2, 3, 9, 10 and 11, Block L, Palisades Map No. 1747; Also Lots 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 and the West One-Half of Lot 3, Block S; Lot 1, the E one-half of Lot 2, Lots 3 and 5, Portions of Lots 6 and 7, Block T; Southerly One-Half of Lot 1, Northeasterly One-Quarter of Lot 2, Lot 3, and a Portion of Lot 4, Block U; Lots 1, 2, and 6, Block V; A portion of Block W, Palisades No. 2 Map 1803; all in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, also being known as Assessor Parcel Numbers 7, 18, and 11, Page 011; Parcel Numbers 1, 2, 3, 9, 10 and 11, Page 012; Parcel 3, Page 013, Parcel Numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16, Page 020; Parcel Numbers 1 and 2, Page 070; Parcel Numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 25 and 26, Page 080; Parcel Numbers 4, 5, 8, 12, 13 and 15, Page 091 ; and Parcel Numbers 1 and 6, Page 092, all of Book 206. WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and ieard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change if zone classification: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES IEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the 'lanning Commission contained in Resolution No. 665 constitute the Findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad. xx xx 21 1 31 4 5 1 6 71 I I certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classi- fication is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
