The City Council of ths City of Carlsbad Goes resolve as fol-

1. Section 13 of Zula IC! of CiPy Couricil Resolution No. 1727 is
hereby amenckd to rezd as follows:
Government Code of the State of California, et. seq, are
hsraby made applicable to the City of
as hereiri othsrwis6- provided, t,ke holidays therein staesd,
together with Every Saturday shsrll be holidays of the City
of Carlsbd, ;;rovideci horiever that an employee such as a
Fire or I~olice employee rslio is reqiaired to sorli 03 Saturdays
and Sundays cs reguler work Gays and is given other ragular
days off, shall hava his assig~ed days off as holidays in 1i.z
of Saturday arid Sunday, If an en:ployes is required to work o
