RESOLUTION NO- 1852
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
ASPHALT PAVING OF KNOWLES AVE. & BUENA
VISTA AVE, (BETWEEN JEFFERSON ST. &
DAVIS ST.)
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. A contract for the asphalt paving of Knowles Ave. and
Buena Vista Ave. (between Jefferson St. and Davis St.) , City
Contract No. 1005, is hereby awarded to MAGEE & ARAIZA, INC.,
2405 N. Santa Fe, Vista, California, in the amount of $9,997.00,
which plans and specifications are on file in the Office of the
City Engineer of the City of Carlsbad.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad are
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Carlsbad all necessary documents and contract for the
implementation of this resolution and the performance of this
work.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held May 18, 1971, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilman Dunne, FIcComass Jardine and Lewis
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Castro
