A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ADOPTING 211 I
31 SALARY PLAN FOR THE CITY FOR 1971-72 i FISCAL YEAR. 41
WHEREAS, the City Council did on June 15, 1971 and June 29,

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does

1. The following standard rates, with step increases set

made a part hereof, are hereby established as the salary plan for
the City of Carlsbad.

The normal eligibility for salary step increases shall be
six months of meritorious service for Step B; one year for Step C;
one year for Step D; and one year for step E.

I These normal step increases shall be granted upon recommenda-
18 tion of the Department Head and approval by the City Manager,
19 Double step increases or step increases in less than the normal
20 time of service, may be permitted for exceptional work performance
