A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARD- ING A CHANGE OF ZONE ON CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY FROM ZONE R-A, R-3 AND M, TO P-U(PUEL1C UTILITY),
ZONING TO P-U(PUBL1C UTILITY), AND ADOPTION OF A SPECIFIC PLAN, ON PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN AND SOUTH OF THE NORTH SHORE OF AGUA HEDIONDA LAGOON, APPROXIMATELY 680 ACRES.
AND A PRE-ANNEXATION CHANGE OF ZONE FROM COUNTY
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of June, 1971, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 711, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of July, 1971, a duly advertised
/public hearing was held as prescribed by law to consider a Change

findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed Pre-Annexation change
of zone classification is necessary to carry out the general
32'purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.

a Pre-Annexation change of zone from County Zoning to P-U(Pub1ic

A Portion of Lot F of Rancho Agua Hedionda in the County of San Diego and a Portion of Lot H, Rancho Agua Hedionda Map 823, in the City of Carlsbad, and a Portion of Block "W" of Palisades No. 2, Map 1803 in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California; also being Parcel 6, Page 07, Book 206; Parcels 24,25,26, and 27, Page 01, Book 210; Parcel 21, Page 21, Book 211, and Parcel 14, Page 01, Book 212 of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the
proposed change of zone classification .
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 20th day of July, 1971, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES : Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Ndne.
