RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUMCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD PROVIDING FOR CREMATIOB OF CABICELLED BONDS.
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has custody of bonds numbered
1 through 954 idsued July 4, 1953 for sewer sanitation im-
provement, the district designated as Carlsbad Sanitary District,
which bonds were cancelled on December 2, 1963, each bond con-
taining 29 coupons, and
WHEREAS, Government Code $53921 authorizes destruction
of such cancelled documents,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED THAT the Carlsbad City
Treasurer is authorized to cremate said documents forthwith.
PASSED, APPROVED Am ADOPTED at a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held September 7
1971, by the following vote:

AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis.
NOES : None.
