A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REVERSING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION AND DENYING A CHANGE OF ZONE AND ADOP- TION OF SPECIFIC PLAN ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED PRO-
PERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM R-3 TO RD-M (Residential Density- Multiple) ZONE.

I hold a duly advertised public hearing
submitted by C. P. THOMPSON, for a Change of Zone and Adoption of
Specific Plan from R-3 to RD-M (Residential Density-Multiple) on
property located on the North side of Cherry Avenue between Carlsba
Boulevard and Garfield Street, more particularly described as:

All that portion of Lot I, Block 1, Palisades Heights; also being known as assessor’s parcel 9, Book 204, Page 231 in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California; more particularly described in application on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
heard and considered all evidence presented, and did decide to
overrule the decision of the Planning Commission and deny the request
for a change of zone and adoption of specific plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does
hereby find the following facts and reasons to exist, which call for
