MEANS appealed to the City Council j the action of the Planning Commission regarding his herein mentioned application - Planning Commission Resolution No. 723. 2. All steps required by law in connection with said application and appeal have been complied with. 3. Said appeal and application are granted and the follow- ing action in regard thereto is taken: that said property is hereby changed from Zone R-1-10,000 and R-1-7500 to Zone P-C (Planned Community), and that the Specific Plan designated Exhibit "A" is hereby approved. 4. In the opinion of the City Council, the following facts and reasons make the granting of said appli'cation necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended: a) The proposed project will offer more open space and landscaping techniques. b) It will guarantee physical maintenance and up-keep of the buildings and property. c> Configuration of the project will insure a control of the population density. d) Population density will be less. 5. Said action regarding said application is made subject to the conditions and limitations contained in the Ordinance approving the Specific Plan. RESOLUTION NO. 1900 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD GRANTING APPEAL OF DECISION OF PLANNING 10,000 AND R-1-7500 TO P-C (Planned Community) ZONE, AND SPECIFIC PLAN, OM PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF HIGHLAND DRIVE AND MAGNOLIA AVENUE.
