RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD ISSUING SPECIAL PERMIT FOR USE
OF FIRE ARMS
It is resolved that JAY F. HOFFMAN is hereby issued a special
permit, pursuant to Chapter 8.16 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code to operate
a private Trap Shooting Range on his private property at 4901 El Camino
Real, at a location thereon as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, to
be used by himself, his family, and guests only, subject to the following
conditions:

The permit is for use of shot guns for trap shooting only,
Shooting shall take place at a safe distance from adjoining property,
The times and frequency of shooting shall be such as to not un-
reasonably impose noise on the other members of the public.
4. This permit shall be effective from October 5, 1971, through
October 4, 1972; provided however that the City Council may, in its dis-
cretion, terminate this permit for any reason on thirty (30) days written
notice to JAY F. HOFFMAN at the above address.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 5th day of
October ,1971, by the following vote, to wit:

ABSENT: Cmn.
