RESOLUTION NO. 1923
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD STATIMG ITS INTENTION
TO ASSIST IN PROVIDING PARKING FACILITIES FOR THE DOWNTOWN AREA.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad that there is a need for parking
facilities in the downtown area; and
WHEREAS, under the State law bonds can be issued to assist
with financing such parking facilities in the downtown area; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that legal and financial counsel
be employed to assist the City staff with the legal and financial
aspects of such facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad that it is the intention of the City Council to
assist in providing parking facilities for the downtown area, and

to instruct the staff to proceed with the employment of legal and
financial consultants for such project.
18 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held November 16, 1971, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine and Lewis.
