RESOLUTION NO. 1930
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY BILLS
1043 THROUGH 1046.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve that the
following described Assembly Bills pertaining to the regulation of noise shoul
be enacted into law:
Assembly Bill 1043 providing for regulations of the design of
pneumatic tires for the purpose of regulating noise.
Assembly Bill 1044 providing for regulation of noise emissions
from motor cycles.
Assembly Bill 1045 providing authority within the CHP to measure
noise limits for various vehicles.
Assembly Bill 1046 providing authority for the CHP to adopt
regulations for noise emissions from vehicle exhaust systems.
The City Clerk is instructed to send a copy of this Resolution to the
various agencies and persons who are in a position to influence the passage
of said legislation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, held on the 21 s t dxy of December, 19'71, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, blcComas, Jardi ne Cas tro and Lewis.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: NO il e .
