RESOLUTION NO, 1947
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CREDIT
PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT.

The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve f as follows:

1. That the City purchase
(a) American La France, 1250 Pioneer 11 Pumper GPM-
Not to exceed $43,000.00.
2. That City pay for said purchase with the proceeds of
loans from United States National Bank in the same
amount, said loans to be secured by a Security Agree-
ment covering said equipment.
3. That the City Treasurer of the City of Carlsbad is here-
by authorized and directed on behalf of the City to exe-
cute Promissory Note covering repayment of said sum;
to execute a Security Agreement securing repayment and
to execute a Uniform Commercial Code financing statement
form UCC 1 in regard to said security.
4. That this authorization to borrow is made on the under-
standing that the City has and will maintain at all times
until payment of this Note in full, sufficient uncommitted
funds with which to pay said Note in full.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held January 18th , 1972, by the following vote,
AYES : Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis.
NOES : None.
