A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE
NO. 9060, SECTION 1612, AND CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TITLE 21, CHAPTER 21.46, SECTION 21.46.130 WALLS, FENCES OR HEDGES.

WHEREAS, on the 11th day of January, 1972, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 743, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, The Carlsbad City Council has published notice that
a hearing would be held on February 1, 1972, at 7;30 P.M., at I
which hearing the proposed amendment would be considered; and
WHEREAS, the City Counci 1 has received a1 1 recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed amend-
ment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does
hereby find, and adopt as the findings of the City Council the
recommendations of the Planning Commission as set forth in the
above referenced resolution of the Planning Commission.

IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED by the City Council that the approval
of the proposed amendment is necessary to carry out the general
purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
IT IS HEREBY DECLARED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad that said City Council intends to adopt an ordinance to
1 effectuate the proposed amendment.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the City Attorney is instructed to

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 1st day of February, 1972, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis.
NOES : None.
ABSENT: None.
