RESOLUTION NO. 1 9 54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD TO OBTAIN FUNDS FOR EDUCATION AND TMINING
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve that:
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad desires to undertake an "EDUCATION AND
RAINING" Project No.
hrough the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 administrated
, to be funded in part from funds made available
y the California Council on Criminal Justice,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is
.uthorized to submit the attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement
'urposes to the California Council on Criminal Justice for its consideration,
ind
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event that the California Council on
lriminal Justice consents to fund the project, the Mayor is authorized to
'xecute on behalf of the City of Carlsbad the contract for the grant for law
mforcement purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide the required
natching funds to said project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be
sed to supplant ongoing law enforcement expenditures.
PASSED, approved and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, held February 7 5, 1972 , by the following
vote, to-wit:
