HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-03-07; City Council; Resolution 19582: 2c .2' 2t 2! 3( 3: 3, RESOLUTION NO. 1258 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, APPROVING THE TENTATIVE MAP OF LAGUNA RIVIERA NO. 5. (L. R. PARTNERSHIP) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on .he 22nd day February, 1972, recommended to the City Council that .he tentative map of Laguna Riviera No. 5 be approved; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the th day of March, 1972, considered the recommendation of the 'lanning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the :ity of Carlsbad that the City Council does hereby approve said .entative map for Laguna Riviera No. 5, comprised of 35 lots, ubject to the following conditions being performed by the owner: 1. Public improvements to serve the subdivision shall be onstructed in accordance with the Subdivision Ordinance and City tandard design criteria. 2. The developer shall enter into a standard guaranteed sub livision agreement for the construction of public improvements. 3. Adequate drainage facilities shall be constructed to lrevent ponding of water and excess surface flows. 4. Street trees shall be planted in accordance with Parks Ind Recreation requirements. 5. Applicant shall install fire hydrants, type and location ;o be approved b y the City Fire Department. 6. Due to the increasing number of units in this subdivisio ;erved by one all-weather access point, a second all-weather access )oint is needed for public safety and emergency vehicles. Therefor ;he developer shall provide a minimum 24' of permanent roadway tithin the Park Drive alignment between Valencia Avenue and Marina )rive. Developer shall enter into an agreement with the City to -. Con- struction shall be coordinated with Unit No. 9 of Laguna Riviera but in any event shall be commenced by November, 1972. 7. The subdivider shall furnish the U.S. Post Office, Carlsbad, California, with a copy of the final subdivision map. 8. Complete plans and specifications shall be submitted as required for checking and approval before construction of any improvement is commenced. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directe to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the 7th day of March, 1972, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis.
