The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve 5 6 as follows: WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad did on July 6, 1971 adopt a 8/lsalary plan for the City of Carlsbad for 1971-72, 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Resolution 1873, dated July 6, 1971, is amended by addition of job description and classi- fication for Garage Attendant, Range 12, as set forth on EXHIBIT "A attached and incorporated herein. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held March 7, 1972, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Cmn. Definition Emnlovment GARAGE ATTENDANT This is unskilled work in the servicing, repair and maintenance of diversified automotive and other muni- cipal equipment. the less difficult work in repairing and assisting in the repair of automotive and other municipal equip- ment. Cleaning of motors, greasing, washing and servicing of equipment and maintenance of buildings and grounds is included in work performed. work under the direct supervision of an employee of a higher level. 1. Lubricates automotive and power equipment using pressure and hand lubrication tools. 2. Dispenses oil and gasoline; checks and repairs tires; checks lights and storage batteries.
