RESOLUTION NO. 2003

A RESOLUTION OFpJHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CREDIT PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
s follows:
1. That the City purchase
(a) 1972 Ford Patch Truck with necessary component
parts. Not to exceed $14,200.00.
2. That City pay for said purchase with the proceeds of
loans from United States National Bank in the same
amount, said loans to be secured by a Security Agree-
ment covering said equipment.
3. That the City Treasurer of the City of Carlsbad is here-
by authorized and directed on behalf of the City to exe-
cute Promissory Note covering repayment of said sum;
to execute a Uniform Commerci a1 financing statement
form UCC 1 in regard to said security.
4. That this authorization to borrow is made on the under-
standing that the City has and will maintain at all times
until payment of this Note in full, sufficient uncommitted
funds with which to pay said Note in full.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
ity Council held May 2nd , 1972, by the following vote,
AYES : Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Chase, Lewis, Frazee.
NOES : None.
ABSENT : None.
