HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-06-07; City Council; Resolution 20241 2 3 4 5 6/ RESOLUTION NO. 2024 i A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REAGRDING CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-1 and R-3 TO R-P (RESIDENTIAL-PROFESSIONAL) ZONE, AND ADOPTION OF A SPECIFIC PLAN ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT OF 8 9 10 111 12 15 INTERSTATE-5 AND ELM AVENUE (W. JOSPEH PARISI) Planning Commission adopted Resolutions No. 784 & 785, which are herewith referred to and made a part hereof; and 1 WHEREAS, on June 7, 1972 a duly advertised public hearing was held as prescribed by law to consider a Change of Zone from R-1 and R-3 to R-P (Residential-Professional) Zoning, and adoption of a Specific Plan on property described as: I 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 14 15 16 17 18 19 heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone and Specific Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of CArlsbad DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Plannin Commission contained in Resolutions No. 784 & 785 constitute the findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad. BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council That portion of Lot 31 in Schell and Sites addition to Carlsbad in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California according to Map thereof, No. 1661, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, February 20, 1929, more particularly described in application on file in the City Clerk's office. 1 WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and 27 28 29 30 31 32 certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classifi- cation and the adoption of the Specific Plan is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060, as amended. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at an adjourned, regular meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day of June, 1972, by the followi vote, to wit: AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas., Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
