A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION
COUNTY ZONING A-l (8) TO P-C (Planned Community) ZONE AND FROM R-1-10,000 TO P-C (Planned Community) ZONE, ON PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF
LY OF THE PROPOSED ELM AVENUE EXTENSION. (Larwin, Inc.)
REGARDING A PRE-ANNEXATION CHANGE OF ZONE FROM
EL CAMINO REAL, SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 78, AND NORTHER-
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 789, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on June 20, 1972, a duly advertised public hearing
was held as prescribed by law to consider a Change of Zone from
County Zoning A-1 (8) to P-C (Planned Community) and from R-1-10,000
to P-C (Planned Community) Zone, and Adoption of a Master Plan on

heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change
of Pre-Annexation classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning
Commission contained in Resolution No. 789 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed Pre-Annexation change of
zone classification is necessary to carry out the general purpose
of Ordinance No. 9060, as amended.
All that portion of Lot "3" of Rancho Agua Hedionda, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to partition map thereof No. 823, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County on November 16, 1886, more particularly described in application on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
feclare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the
)reposed change of zone classification and Master Plan.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
:ity Council held on the 20th day of June, 1972, by the following
iote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
