A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSGAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARBING CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-1 TO RD-M (Residential Density-Multiple) ON PROPERTY LOCATED WEST OF PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD. (Pac-if,i.c View Development).
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of August, 1972, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 814, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on September 5, 1972, a duly advertised public hear-
ing was held as prescribed by law to consider a Change of Zone from
R-1 to RD-M (Residential Density-Multiple) Zoning, on property descri
ed as:
That portion of Lot "H", Rancho Agua Hedionda, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego,
State of California, according to partition Map thereof No. 823, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County on November 16, 1896, and more particularly described in application on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed Change of
Zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning
Commission contained in Resolution No. 814, relative to the Zone
Change only, constitutes the findings of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad certifies that the approval of the proposed
change of zone classification, is necessary to carry out the general
purpose of Ordinance No. 9060, as amended.
