A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
DENYING APPEAL OF DECISION Of: PLANNING COMMISSION RE-
GARDING A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO ALLQW A REDUCTION IN REQUIRED FRONT YARD SETBACK FROM NINETY (90) FEET TO TWENTY-FIVE (25) FEET ON PARCEL B TO CREATE QNE"PANHANDLE" _I
. LOT, ON PROPERTIES LOCATED ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF HOOVER
. STREET BETWEEN ADAMS STREET AND HIGHLAND DRIVE. (Robert Bangar
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. Appellant ROBERT BANGAR appealed to
the City Council the action of the Planning Commission regarding
his herein mentioned application - Planning Commission Resolution
No. 812 .
2. All steps required by law in connection with said applica
tion and appeal have been complied with.
3. Said appeal and application are denied and the following
action in regard thereto is taken:
4. In the opinion of the City Council the following facts
and reasons make the denying of said application necessary to
carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended:
At the present time the panhandle lot is not in the best interesi
of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED AT a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held September 19,
1972, - by the following vote, to wit:
