3001 RESOLUTION NO.
A ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF UTILITY
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH SAN DIEGO GAS AND
ELECTRIC COMPANY
CANNON ROAD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 1-1970
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad resolves as follows:
1. The San Diego Gas and Electric Company holds a franchise
for the use of the public streets for the furnishing of electric
energy.
2. In connection with the undergrounding of utilities in the
Cannon Road Improvement District 1-1970, it is necessary and de-
sirable to enter into a contract with the San Diego Gas & Electric
Company for the construction of such facilities and the Mayor of
the City of Carlsbad is authorized to execute such a contract with
the San Diego Gas and Electric Company, in the form attached and
incorporated in this resolution as Exhibit A.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held October 17, 1972, by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen McComas, Lewis and Chase
ABSENT: Mayor Dunne, Councilhan FKazee
