RESOLUTION NO. 3014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK
IZED DEPUTY TO EXAMINE STATE SALES TAX RECORDS OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD OR HER DULY AUTHOR-
WHEREAS, it is provided in Section 7056 of the Revenue and
Taxation Code of the State of California, that upon request of the
legislative body of any city for whom Sales and Use Taxes are col-
lected under the Bradley-Burns Uniform Local Sales and Use Tax Law,
by the State Board of Equalization, said Board shall permit certain
duly authorized officers of the City to
use tax records pertaining to sales and

of the State Board of Equalization on behalf of the City of Carls-
bad;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Clerk
of the City of Carlsbad,or her duly authorized deputy, be, and
hereby is, authorized to examine the sales and use tax records of
the State Board of Equalization pertaining to sales and use taxes
collected by the City of Carlsbad pursuant to contract under the
Bradley-Burns Uniform Local Sales and Use Tax Law; and
That the State Board of Equalization is hereby requested to
permit the examination of said records and to make them otherwise
available at such reasonable times, and from time to time, as the
need may arise on behalf of said City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 30th
day of October, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
