WHEREAS, on August 15, 1972, a duly advertised public hearing
was held as prescribed by law to consider a Specific Plan and
Tentative Map on property described as:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISIONS REGARDING ADOPTION OF A SPECIFIC PLAN ON PROPERTY LYING EASTERLY OF EL CAMINO REAL AND SOUTHERLY OF MARRON ROAD EXTENSION, AND APPROVING A TENTATIVE MAP FOR CARLSBAD TRACT NO. 72-21. (Larwin Company)
WHEREAS, the City Council received a1 1 recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed Specific
Plan and Tentative Map,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 813 constitute the
findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed Specific Plan and Tenta-
tive Map is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance
No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad does hereby declare its intention to adopt an Ordinance to

All that portion of Lot "J" in Rancho Agua Hedionda, in the County of San Diego, according to the partition map thereof No. 823 filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County on November 16, 1886, together with those portions of Lots 3, 4 and 5 in Section 32, Township 11 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, according to United States Government Survey, approved December 27, 1870 and being located in aforementioned County, State of California, and being more particularly described on file in the City Clerk's Office.
