HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-12-19; City Council; Resolution 30311 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 3031 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISIONS REGARDING ADOPTION OF A SPECIFIC PLAN ON A LOCATED SOUTH OF LEVANTE STREET, WEST OF ANILLO WAY, AND APPROVING A TENTATIVE MAP VILLAGE. 130-LOT RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT ON PROPERTY FOR CARLSBAD TRACT NO. 72-24, SPANISH (LaCosta Land Company) WHEREAS, on the 28th day of November, 1972, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 830, which is hereby referred to and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, on December 19, 1972, a duly advertised public hearing was held as prescribed by law to consider a Specific Plan and Tentative Map on property described as: Portion of Section 36, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California. WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed Specif Plan and Tentative Map; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 830 constitute the findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad. BE IT DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council certifie that the approval of the proposed specific Plan and Tentative Map is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No.906 as amended. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby declare its intention to adopt an ordinan to effectuate the proposed Specific Plan. AND BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the subdivider shall furnish the U.S. Post Office, Carlsbad, California, with a copy of the final subdivision map. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 The City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the sub- divider at his address as shown on the Tentative Map. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of December , 1972,by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
