A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY courmL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REQUESTING A STUDY TO DETERMINE TRANSIT NEEDS OF THE CITY.

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to implement a
public transit system, and
WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the City to join a sub-
regional North San Diego County transit system, and
WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the City to participate
in a subregional North San Diego County transit system study,
and,
WHEREAS, SB 325 permits expenditure of funds for sub-
regi onal studies
BE IT RESOLVED that the Comprehensive Planning Organization
is hereby requested to enter into a contract with a consultant
to determine the transit needs of the City.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 2nd day of January , 1973, by the
foll owi ng vote :
AYES : Councilmen Dunne, Lewis and Frazee.
NOES : Councilman Chase.
ABSENT : Councilman McComas.
