RESOLUTION NO. 3043
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING CREDIT PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
3s follows:
1. That the City purchase
(a) American La France, 1250 Pioneer I1 Pumper GPM;
Not to exceed $43,000.00.
2. That City pay for said purchase with the proceeds of
loans from the low bidder in the same amount, said
loans to be secured by a Security Agreement covering
said equipment.
3. That the City Treasurer of the City of Carlsbad is
hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City
to execute Promissory Note covering repayment of said
sum; to execute a Security Agreement securing repay-
ment and to execute a Uniform Commercial Code financing
statement form UCC 1 in regard to said security.
4. That this authorization to borrow is made on the under-
standing that the City has and will maintain at all
times until payment of this Note in full, sufficient
uncommittee funds with which to pay said Note in full.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held January 2, 1973, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen LeNis, Chase and Frazee.
NOES: Councilman Dunne.
ABSENT: Councilman McComas.
