RESOLUTION NO. 3044
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF! CITY
OF CARLSBAD AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2034 WHICH
APPROVED THE CITY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1972-
1973 TO PROVIDE FOR RECEIPT AND DISBURSEMENT
OF FEDERAL REVENUE SEARING FUNDS

WHEREAS, under the State and Local Fiscal Assistance
Act o€ 1972 (Public., Law 92-512), the City of Carlsbad will
receive certain federal financial assistance; and
WIIERRAS, said financial assistance was not included
in the City budget for fiscal year 1972-1973; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to amend said budget
to provide for receipt and disbursement of said. funds.
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad as follows:
1. Fund Number 22, to be known as "Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund" I is herewith created.
2. Fund Number 22 will be a general led.ger account,
all expenditures being transferred to specific departmental
expenditure accounts.
3. The revenues of the City for fiscal year 1972-
1973 are revised to show receipt of an estimated $215,098 in
revenue sharing funds and. all revenue subtotals and totals are
likewise revised.
4. The following expenditures are approved. with
appropriate total revisions:

5. The following amount is held in reserve pending
appropriation to expenditure amounts by the City:
RESERVES (Revenue Sharing) $182,200
6. Resolution No. 2034 and. the budget are amended in
accordance with Items 1 through 5.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
the City Council held January 2, 1973 by the following vote,
to-wit:

NOES : None.
ABSENT: Councilman McComas
