A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH GAGE-BABCOCR
& ASSOCIATES, INC. TO PERE'ORM A COST EFFECTImNESS
STUDY AND LONG RANGE PLAN FIRE bEFENSES AND AUTHOR-
IZING EXPENDITURE OF $51000 IN FEDEFXL REVENUE
SHARZNG FUNDS FOR SAID STUDY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
reretofore decided that a study is needed to assure provision
If fire protection services to the citizens of said City in the
lost effective manner: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
lesires data to effectively plan long range fire defenses for
;aid City;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Zarlsbad does hereby authorize the City Manager to sign a con-
xact with the firm of Gage-Babcock and Associates to perform
;aid study and authorize the expenditure of Five Thousand
IOLLARS ($5,000.00) therefor.
