WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore approveh the
ommunity Service Officer Grant Application; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has received the full
mount of its grant request; and
WHEREAS, funds presently included in the Police Depart-
ent budget are insufficient to provide "matching funds" for the
ull amount of the approved grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
he City of Carlsbad that the amount of $12,094.00 be transferred
rom the General Fund Reserve to the Police Department, Account
-119, and the Finance Director is instructed to place the appro-
riate accounts within Account 1-119 to meet Grant requirements.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
ity Council of the City of Carlsbad, California held on February
