A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD SUPPORTING THE CITY OF OCEANSIDE IN REQUESTING SB 325 STUDY FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF A SUBREGIONAL NORTH SAN DIEGO COUNTY TRANSIT STUDY.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to implement a
public transit system, and
WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the City to join a sub-
regional North San Diego County transit system, and
WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the City to participate
in a subregional North San Diego County transit system
study, and,
WHEREAS, SB -325 permits expenditure of funds for sub-
regional studies
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Carlsbad will support
the City of Oceanside in its request for SB 325 study funds
from the Comprehensive Planning Organization and will par-
ticipate by pledging a portion of its SB 325 planning funds,
not to exceed $ 700 toward completion of the subregional
North San Diego County Study.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 6th day of February , 1973, by the
following vote:
AYES : Councilmen Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and
NOES : None. Frazee.
ABSENT: None.
