NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the specifications as presented are hereby
approved.
3. That the Purchasing Agent of the City of Carlsbad
is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to publish in
accordance with law, notice to vendors inviting for bids for
the equipment herein above described, in accordance with the
speci fi cations herein above referred to. I I
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held March 20, 1973,
by the following vote, to wit:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE CITY TO INVITE _BIDS FOR AN AMBULANCE
WHEREAS, detailed chassis specifications for a fully
equipped ambulance have been prepared by the Ambulance
Specification Committee; and
WHEREAS, said specifications have been filed in the office
of City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by
reference herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to
acquire an ambulance;
AYES: Councilmen Dunne, McComas, Lewis and Frazee.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Chase.
