RESOLUTION NO. 3078
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT CREATING THE SAN LUIS REY WATERSHED PLANNING AGENCY AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
lreviously approved in principal membership in the San Luis Rey
latershed Planning Agency; and,
WHEREAS, the San Luis Rey Watershed Planning Agency has
pproved Carlsbad as a member, subject to execution of the agree-
lent and payment of its portion of the adopted budgets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Joint Powers Agreement
reating the San Luis Rey Watershed Planning Agency dated June 18,
969, as shown on Attachment (11, attached hereto and made a part
ereof by reference thereto, is approved and the Mayor and City
lerk are hereby authorized to execute this agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED By the City Council of the City
f Carlsbad at a regularly scheduled meeting this 20th day
f March, 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Counciilmen Dunne, McComas, Lewis and Frazee.
NOES : None.
ABSENT: Counci lman Chase.
