RESOLUTION NO. 3094
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ACCEPTING A BID AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A DUMP TRUCK AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $1,748
FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVE TO FUND A PORTION OF SAID PURCHASE
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City for the
purchase of a dump truck in accordance with the provisions
of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the lowest bid received was that of the
Weseloh Chevrolet Company, 114 S. Hill Street, Oceanside,
California; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of $1,748 from the general fund
is necessary to supplement the department budget in order to
purchase the truck outright; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary and in the
public interest to purchase said dump truck;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.

directed to accept the bid of Weseloh
and to purchase said truck,
3. The expenditure of $1,748 fr m the general fund
reserve is authorized for said purchase.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held March 20, 1973
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dunne, McComas, Lew
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Chase.
