RESOLUTION NO, 3 1 00
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARISBAD TO OBTATN FUNDS FOR
CRliME CONTROL
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve that: /I
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad desires to undertake a CRIME SPECIFIC BURGLARY
Project No. , to be funded in part from funds made available through the
Omnibus Crime. Control and Safe Streets Act: of 1968 addnistered by the Cali-
fornfa Councfl on Crimfnal Justice,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the Ctty of Carlsbad is
authorezed to subm2t the attached Applicateon for Grant for Law Enforcement
Purposes to the Californea Council on Crimenal Justice for its consideration,
Cr2mfnal Justfce consents to fund the project, the 'Mayor is authorized to exe-
cute on behalf of the Cfty of Carlsbad the contract for the grant for law
enforcement purposes*
BE IT F'URTJ3ER RESOLVED that the applfcant agrees to provfde the required
matching funds to safd project,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be used
to supplant ongoing law enforcement expendPtures,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOFTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
Cfty of Carlsbad, Calffornia, held April 3, 1973, By the following vote, to-wit
AYES : Cmn. McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
NOES : None.
ABSENT : Mayor Dunne, ccL-----
