RESOLUTION NO. 3115 -
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO
PURCHASE AN AMBULANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
has determined that it is necessary and in the public interest
to acquire an ambulance; and
WHEREAS, the intent to purchase has been advertised,
bids invited, received and opened in accordance with the
provisions of Section 3.28.100 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code;
and
WHEREAS, the lowest acceptable bid received was from
Savage Enterprises; P.O. Box 542; Cypress, California 90630;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Purchasing
Agent of the City is authorized and directed to purchase a
1973 Ambulance on a one (1) ton Chevro'let Van Chassis as
specified from Savage Enterprises; P.O,, Box 542; Cypress,
California 90630.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held April 17, 1973, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Dunne, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
NOES : None.
ABSENT: Councilman McComas
