RESOLUTION NO. 3154
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A BID, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
TANKER TRUCK.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the bid of Deis Truck and Equipment Inc.;
Post Office Box 2061; Escondido, Ca 92025 is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract
for the purchase of one Tanker Truck at the cost of $10,282.82
plus 5% tax of $514.14 for a total cost of $10,796.96.
2. That the expenditure of $10,796.96 is hereby authorized
out of Fund 5 of the City of Carlsbad solely and exclusively
for the purpose of providing funds for one Tanker Truck.
PASSED APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on June 19, 1973,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Dunne, McComas, Chase and Frazee.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Lewis.
