Home My WebLink About1973-07-03; City Council; Resolution 3165RESOLUTION NO. 3165 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED INVOLVING DRAINAGE EASEMENTS NO LONGER REQUIRED BY THE CITY. WHEREAS, easements for public drainage purposes were granted to the County of San Diego as follows: 1. Drainage Easement recorded June 4, 1971, Document No. 117673; 2. Drainage Easement recorded November 13, 1969, Document No. 208551 ; 3. Drainage Easement recorded December 3, 1969, Document No. 220242; and WHEREAS, upon annexation of subject property the City of Carlsbad acquired said easements; and WHEREAS, said easements are no longer required by the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute three Quitclaim Deeds in the form shown as Exhibits "A", I'B" and 'IC" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, in favor of La Costa Land Company. 3. That the particular legal descriptions for each of the easements is attached to the respective Quitclaim Deed as Exhibit "A" thereto.
