RESOLUTION NO. 31 71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
AND CHANGING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING
VACATION SCHEDULING.

The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad wishes to
revise rules and regulations governing the scale of vacation
accrual for unforned fire employees working shifts,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Rule X, Section 3 of the
Personnel Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 1727, is revised
by the use of the term "shift" to replace that of "consecutive days"
in the scale of vacation accrual.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held July 17,1973 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
NOES: None
ABSENT : 0 ne
