SAID DEVELOPMENT IS TO BE KNOWN AS "CARLSBAD P AL I SAD ES It . That the findings of the Planning Commission as orth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 928 constitute indings of the City Council. 1. t 0 i3. That the approval of the proposed specific plan is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code. 14. That the specific plan recommended by Planning Comml'ssion Resolution No. 928 is hereby approved subject to the conditions therein with the exception of condition no. 8 which shall read as follows: The Developer is encouraged to work with the Carlsbad Unified School District to provide for future school requirements that will result from the proposed development. 'PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 7th day of Auqust ¶ 19734 by the following vote, to wit: I 'AYES: Councilmen Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
