HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-09-04; City Council; Resolution 3207RESOLUTION NO. 3207 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF ALGA ROAD, EAST OF EL CAMINO REAL, WEST OF CARRILLO RANCH AND SOUTH OF THE BRESSI OWNERSHIP BY CHANGING THE RESIDENTIAL DENSITIES FROM RESIDENTIAL DENSITIES OF .93, 8, 10, 15 AND 17.5. (Marvin Kratter) 0-2 AND 3-7 FAMILIES PER NET ACRE TO WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad Planning Commission did on the 14th day of August, 1973, hold a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by law, to consider an amendment to the General Plan as follows: "Adopting Land Use Amendment No. 5 (Residential Density Portion) of the City of Carlsbad General Plan, specifying that residential densities be amended from the 0-2 and 3-7 families per net acre to residential densities of .93, 8, 10, 15 and 17.5 dwelling units per gross acre," on property generally located north of Alga Road, east of El Camino Real, west of Carrillo Ranch and south of the Bressi Ownership and more particularly described as : Being portions of Sections 23, 24, 25 and 26 in Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, according to Official P1 at thereof. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 941 recommending said amendment to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the applicant has met the requirements of the "City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972" and an Environmental Impact Report was filed and discussed at a duly noticed public hearing held by the Planning Commission and City Council and was approved as presented; and WHEREAS, on September 4, , 1973, the City Council held a duly advertised public hearing to consider said amendment; and 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2.
